How do I get started?
Simply download the ScheduFlow installation file onto your computer.  Once you have done so, double click on the downloaded file and our intuitive installation wizard will guide you through the installation process.

Can I install ScheduFlow on one computer?
Yes, ScheduFlow can be installed on a standalone computer.  If you want to run ScheduFlow on one computer only, you will need to install both components ScheduFlow Server and ScheduFlow Client on that machine (see below).

Can I install ScheduFlow on several computers and have all my users view the same schedules at the same time?
Yes, ScheduFlow can be installed on multiple computers on your network, meaning that all your up-to-date appointments can be viewed by multiple users, at the same time. If you will be running ScheduFlow on multiple computers, you will need to install ScheduFlow Server on one computer, and install ScheduFlow Client on all the computers that will be accessing the ScheduFlow data.

What is the ScheduFlow Server?
The ScheduFlow Server is the component of our software that needs to be installed only one one computer in your organization.  This stores the scheduling data in a secure database that will be accessed by all ScheduFlow Clients.  The ScheduFlow Server runs in the background.

What is the ScheduFlow Client?
The ScheduFlow Client is the component of our software that is used for viewing, entering, modifying, and removing client, resource, and appointment information. It should be installed on all computers that will need to access the ScheduFlow data.
   
6.
What is a Resource?
A resource is any person, place, or thing that is assigned to the appointment.  For example, a doctor, a stylist, a room, a truck, etc. are all sample resources.
   
7.
Is this a desktop application or a web-based scheduling solution?
ScheduFlow is a desktop application that needs to be installed on your computer in order for you to access scheduling information.  However, while it does not have a web-interface, ScheduFlow can work over the Internet, from remote locations.
   
8.
When installing the 30-day trial version of ScheduFlow, will I need to give you my personal or billing information?
Duoserve is one of the few companies that does not ask for ANY information until you are ready to make a purchase. Not even your email address!
   
9.
What kind of support is offered once I purchase your software?
We offer two purchasing plans - one that includes free online support (email and forum), and the other which includes free phone support for two years from the date of purchase.  It is completely up to you to choose which purchasing plan you would like once you are ready to make the purchase.
   
10.
Will Duoserve disclose my personal and/or business information?
Duoserve will not disclose any of the information you provide us with upon purchase with any other organization or individual, unless you respond affirmatively to the question when making your purchase "I allow Duoserve to use our company name as part of their client list that may be used on their website and/or other marketing materials." Keeping your information confidential is an utmost priority for Duoserve.

Is there a limit to how many resources I can enter?
No, there is no limit to how many resources you can enter into ScheduFlow.

Is there a limit to how many clients I can enter?
No, there is no limit to how many clients you can enter into ScheduFlow.

Is there a limit to how many appointments I can enter?
No, there is no limit to how many appointments you can enter into ScheduFlow.
   
14.
I am ready to make a purchase.  How many licenses do I need to purchase?
Our licenses (CAL's - client access licenses) are based on the number of computers that are running ScheduFlow.  For example, if you have ScheduFlow Server and Client installed on one computer, and four other ScheduFlow clients running on four other computer, you will need to purchase 5 CAL's.
   
15. Is this a one-time fee or a subscription?
Our software needs to be purchased only once.  There are no renewal fees. You own your copy once you make the purchase.
   
16. Are software upgrades offered for free?
Minor upgrades and bug fixes are offered for free for all customers.  Major versions / upgrades will need to be re-purchased.  We usually offer a significant discount on the major version upgrades.
   
17. Do you accept payments by check?
Yes, we accept payments by check for orders of 5 workstations and above. If you would like to make a payment by check, please send it to the following address:

Your check should be made payable to Duoserve and must be received 1 week prior to your expiration date.  We will not be issuing permanent registration keys until your check has cleared.  In the Notes section of your check, please write the product you are purchasing (e.g. ScheduFlow 15 CAL).
   
18. Do you accept Paypal payments?
Yes, we accept Paypal payments. Payments should be sent to contact@duoserve.com.  Please indicate the product name and number of licenses in the description field.
