How do I get started?
Simply download the TimeFlow® installation file onto your computer. Once you have done so, double click on the downloaded file and our intuitive installation wizard will guide you through the installation process. -
Can I install TimeFlow® on one computer?
Yes, TimeFlow® time clock software can be installed on a standalone computer. If you want to run TimeFlow® on one computer only, you will need to install both components, the TimeFlow® Server and the TimeFlow® Client on that machine (see below). -
Can I install TimeFlow® on several computers and have all my employees punch in and out from their computers, while that data is available to the administrator centrally?
Yes, TimeFlow® can be installed on multiple computers on your network, meaning that employees can punch in and punch out from their computers and the administrator will have the timesheet data available centrally. If you will be running TimeFlow® time clock software on multiple computers, you will need to install TimeFlow® Server on one computer, and install TimeFlow® Client on all the computers that will be accessing the TimeFlow® data. -
What is the TimeFlow® Server?
The TimeFlow® Server is the component of our software that needs to be installed only one one computer in your organization. This stores the employee and timesheet data in a secure database that will be accessed by all TimeFlow® Clients. The TimeFlow® Server runs in the background. -
What is the TimeFlow® Client?
The TimeFlow® Client is the component of our software that is used for viewing, entering, modifying, and removing employee, department, and timesheet information. It should be installed on all computers that will need to access the TimeFlow® data. -
Is this a desktop application or a web-based time management solution?
TimeFlow® is a desktop application that needs to be installed on one or more computers on your local area network in order for you to access timesheet information. However, while it does not have a web-interface, TimeFlow® can work over the Internet, from remote locations. Click here to learn more. -
When installing the 30-day trial version of TimeFlow, will I need to give you my personal or billing information?
Duoserve is one of the few companies that does not ask for ANY information until you are ready to make a purchase. Not even your email address! -
What kind of support is offered once I purchase your software?
We offer two purchasing plans - one that includes free online support (email and forum), and the other which includes free phone support for two years from the date of purchase. It is completely up to you to choose which purchasing plan you would like once you are ready to make the purchase. -
Will Duoserve disclose my personal and/or business information?
Duoserve will not disclose any of the information you provide us with upon purchase with any other organization or individual, unless you respond affirmatively to the question when making your purchase "I allow Duoserve to use our company name as part of their client list that may be used on their website and/or other marketing materials." Keeping your information confidential is an utmost priority for Duoserve. -

I am ready to make a purchase. How many licenses do I need to purchase?
Our CAL's (client access licenses) are based on the number of computers that are running TimeFlow. For example, if you have TimeFlow® Server and Client installed on one computer, and four other TimeFlow® clients running on four other computer, you will need to purchase 5 CAL's. - Is this a one-time fee or a subscription?
Our software needs to be purchased only once. There are no renewal fees. You own your copy once you make the purchase.
- Are software upgrades offered for free?
Minor upgrades and bug fixes are offered for free for all current customers. Major versions / upgrades will need to be re-purchased. We usually offer a significant discount on the major version upgrades.
- Do you accept payments by check?
